Outcome
MODE 1090 shows origin, destination and progress when reliable route data is available for the selected live flight.
How to do it
- Open an aircraft detail view and look for the origin and destination codes.
- Treat route data already included by the live source as part of that live track.
- On iPhone, iPad and Mac, Premium is required when MODE 1090 performs an additional on-demand callsign route lookup.
- Apple Watch and Apple TV show the route information supported by their current native views.
- If callsign, origin or destination changes or disappears, wait for the next live refresh before trying again.
Good to know
- Route data is not available for every callsign and may differ from the aircraft's actual operational plan.
- No ticket, itinerary or passenger data is used.
If the result looks different, open Settings > Help and send the visible status together with device, operating system and app version.
