Premium spoken traffic can announce nearby contacts on supported iPhone and iPad devices using system speech.
How to do it
- Open Settings, choose Spoken traffic and enable the main switch.
- Choose whether callouts follow the app language or use a fixed English or German language.
- Select region and detail level so phrasing and included values fit your use case.
- Set speech speed, system voice and optional radio effect.
- Use the pinned sample sentence and play control to preview the exact current phrasing.
Good to know
- Spoken traffic is not available on Mac, Apple Watch or Apple TV.
- Available voices depend on voices installed in the operating system; speech remains on-device.
If the result looks different, open Settings > Help and send the visible status together with device, operating system and app version.
