Outcome
The native Apple TV app is a focused large-screen radar with remote-first navigation and source QR codes for aircraft photos.
How to do it
- Open MODE 1090 on Apple TV and wait for the configured live radar to load.
- Press Back to hide the selected aircraft details and photo for a full-screen radar.
- Press the clickpad center to show the same selected aircraft details again.
- While details are open, press left or right to select the previous or next aircraft.
- Press up or down to cycle the available label styles.
- Press Play/Pause to open range, view, labels, grid and OLED options.
Good to know
- MODE 1090 only handles Back while details are visible; from the radar-only view, Back keeps its normal tvOS behavior.
- The aircraft-photo QR code points to the credited source page; scan it with another device.
- Apple TV does not contain Collection, account, backup or Sky Scanner.
- Available platform functions in the current TV app do not show a separate Premium gate.
