Use Monitor Mode and Continuous Radar

Open a distraction-free radar and understand the Premium keep-awake behavior on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Outcome

Monitor mode itself is free; on iPhone, iPad and Mac, Premium removes the five-minute idle pause and can keep the display awake.

How to do it

  1. Choose Monitor from the Sky controls to hide normal navigation and fill the screen with radar.
  2. Use the visible exit control to return to the normal app.
  3. Without Premium on iPhone, iPad or Mac, resume the radar when the five-minute idle pause appears.
  4. With Premium, enable Keep display awake in Settings when the device should remain an active monitor.
  5. Apple TV is already designed as an always-visible room radar and uses its own native display behavior.

Good to know

  • Keeping a display awake increases energy use and can affect OLED panels over very long sessions.
  • Monitor mode does not make stale or unavailable data current.
If the result looks different, open Settings > Help and send the visible status together with device, operating system and app version.
