iPad and Mac preserve the same live sky and collection model while using the extra space for side-by-side information.
How to do it
- Open Sky to keep the radar and nearby aircraft list visible at the same time.
- Select a nearby aircraft to open its details without losing the wider radar context.
- On iPad, switch between Sky and Collection with the compact bottom navigation or Command-1 and Command-2 on a hardware keyboard.
- On Mac, use the sidebar or the corresponding menu commands to move between Sky and Collection.
- Open Monitor when you want a quiet, full-window live radar.
Good to know
- Sky Scanner is available on iPad because it has the required iOS camera and motion stack; it is not available on Mac.
- Spoken traffic and alternate app icons are limited to iPhone and iPad.
If the result looks different, open Settings > Help and send the visible status together with device, operating system and app version.
