How to do it

  1. Open Settings, then Radar, to choose how aircraft labels and the radar grid appear.
  2. Enable OLED background for the darkest available radar canvas.
  3. Choose which labels remain visible when traffic is dense.
  4. On Apple TV, cycle label styles with up or down on the Siri Remote and open OLED or grid options with Play/Pause.
  5. On iPhone, iPad or Mac, Premium unlocks free radar color customization; the standard palette remains available without Premium.

Good to know

  • Apple Watch offers its own compact view, airport-marker and OLED controls.
  • Never rely on color alone to identify an aircraft state; labels and detail values remain the authoritative information.
If the result looks different, open Settings > Help and send the visible status together with device, operating system and app version.
